360° Trade fair fun with us x Mars 2023 & 2024

With up to 300,000 visitors annually, Berlin International Green Week (Grüne Woche) has established itself as the food sector’s most important trade fair. It serves as an important platform for our customer Mars to demonstrate that they are much more than just a famous chocolate bar — as a matter of fact, the family-owned business has been producing a variety of internationally renowned and cherished brands for over 100 years.
2023
For Mars’s debut, we created a colorful, cutting-edge and entertaining trade fair stand with an experiential mission — we invited representatives from Ghana to share their personal accounts of Mars’s 100% responsible cocoa sourcing, displayed information about the Mars restoration initiative, Sheba Hope Reef, exhibited an assortment of Mars Wrigley chewing gum goodies developed by dental hygienists, and organized a Mars Wheel of Fortune with terrific prizes. Moreover, we turned the spotlight on Mars’s key brand themes via complexly produced video clips projected on large-scale LED screens. It’s safe to say this first trade first production made a long-lasting impression on many. Our customer’s feedback? “An overwhelming success — our stand was by far the most beautiful!”
2024
"The world we want tomorrow starts with how we do business today." Mars embodied its credo at the Berlin International Green Week. Hence, the brand mainly focused on its climate pledge, which we presented to visitors in playful and eye-catching ways via various info areas, an interactive multi-touch table and a quiz at the trade fair stand. Highlights also included a delightful assortment of specialty coffees, served sustainably in reusable cups, and tasty snacks in fairly produced Mars branded bags.
Trade fair visitors experienced their first touchpoint with Mars at Messe Berlin's south entrance, where Mars Logistic's first eTruck, which first hit the road in Germany in January 2024, was on display. A massive banner in the busy entrance area, complemented with voucher sampling by our promotion team, guided visitors to Mars's trade fair stand upon arrival.
We also booked print ads and secured a banner takeover of the Berlin MoPo website during Berlin International Green Week. The ads were also displayed in various (D)OOH spaces across Berlin. Always with a reference to the trade fair, always with Mars's climate goals in focus.
